Collection: Drape Code Necklace

The question that started this piece: what would a necklace look like if it were built from rows of information instead of curves of ornament?

Each horizontal line carries strung gemstones. Seed bead loops anchor the rows on either side and pull the whole structure into an inverted triangle. The bib drapes because the geometry requires it.

It reads a little like sheet music. A little like cuneiform. A little like something sketched in a field notebook before the idea got cleaned up. The structure is the ornament. Nothing else is doing that work.
