Tree Agate Nitot Necklace

Tree agate is a white to pale cream chalcedony. The green inclusions are chlorite or hornblende, secondary minerals that crystallized within fractures and cavities as the host stone formed. The distribution is irregular by nature: some specimens run heavy with green, some show just a thread of it. Geographic origin is primarily India, with additional sources in Brazil and the US.

The necklace sits across the collarbone in open curves. Teal seed beads carry the structure, bronze elements run through it. Square tree agate stones at each shoulder and at the center collar. Round tree agate beads along the upper edge, cream with green inclusions visible on close inspection. Bronze dagger drops along the lower edge. A textured gray glass rectangle at the center point.

Wear it with an olive linen shirt, a cream silk blouse, or anything in a warm neutral where the green in the stones has room to read.
