Sunstone is a feldspar, the same mineral family as labradorite, but where labradorite shifts between colors depending on angle, sunstone holds its warmth. The color comes from copper inclusions suspended within the crystal structure, tiny platelets that scatter light and produce the characteristic peachy-gold glow. Oregon is the primary domestic source. The effect is not iridescent. It is warm, consistent, and direct.

These are built in two stacked teardrop frames, smaller above larger below. The frames shift between blue and violet depending on angle. Sunstone rounds stud the horizontal crossbars and run along the outer curve of the lower teardrop. A dark brown metallic diamond bead sits at the center junction. A clear pale blue glass teardrop hangs at the base.

Warm palette, cool structure. Wear these with terracotta, rust, warm olive, or anything that wants a point of light without going precious.
