Snowflake obsidian is a volcanic glass interrupted by white cristobalite inclusions, formed when silica-rich lava cools too fast to crystallize. The inclusions are not flaws. They are the record of the cooling event, frozen mid-process.
The Nitot takes its structural logic from early 19th-century French parure design: angular frameworks, deliberate negative space, focal drops that pull the eye down. Gold brass tubes form open triangles across the neckline, threaded through with navy indigo seed beads. Square snowflake obsidian beads run along the collar. Round obsidian beads sit at the framework nodes. Blue dagger glass drops hang from the lower fringe. A beige glass whelk suspends from the central triangle.
Wear it with a black silk shell or an open-collar white shirt where the geometry sits unobstructed.
