This beaded fringe necklace features a structured line of focal rhodochrosite stones supporting cascading geometric drops in aubergine and warm autumn tones with round rhodochrosite stones at the bottom. The drops get shorter as you move towards the middle of the necklace.
This statement necklace design, the Merv, is named for the ancient city in modern-day Turkmenistan, that was an epicenter of commerce and cultural events on the Silk Road until its ultimate decline. The design was inspired by the matha patti, an ornate headpiece worn by Turkmen brides to symbolize marital bliss and prosperity.
Perfect with a teal, black, or royal blue square neck or off the shoulder top. A great way to stand out at an art gallery or conference event.
