Lapis lazuli has been mined in Afghanistan's Badakhshan province for over 6,000 years. It is one of the oldest traded gemstone materials in the world. The stones in this collar are polished hexagonal slabs, deep navy with the natural matrix variation that tells you these are not dyed substitutes.
