Moss agate is a translucent chalcedony with dendritic inclusions of chlorite or hornblende. The inclusions read as moss, lichen, or landscape depending on the stone. Geographic origin: India, Brazil, or the United States. No two stones cut the same.
This colorway runs a square moss agate center through a diamond spindle frame of amber gold seed beads. Teal Czech glass paisley beads sit above and below the focal stone. A bronze faceted glass bead anchors the interior. Green tube beads at the crown. A Czech glass leaf in green with gold luster at the base drop. The result is a beaded gemstone earring in a forest floor palette: amber, bronze, teal, and the particular green of moss agate.
Wear with an olive linen shirt or a deep teal dress.
