Moss agate is a chalcedony with dendritic inclusions of chlorite or hornblende that read as moss, landscape, or suspended botanical matter depending on the stone. It is not technically banded agate. The gray-green cloudiness is the matrix; the darker dendritic forms are the inclusions. Natural and untreated.

The Appian Way was Rome's first major road, built 312 BC: wide flat paving slabs, short vertical columns between them, continuous rails along the edges. That geometry is exactly what this cuff is built from, which means the transition from ancient road to your wrist is more literal than it sounds.

Moss agate tablets run in a horizontal row across the center, separated by gunmetal gray glass columns. Small round moss agate beads sit at every junction where the rails meet the columns. Bronze metallic glass rails frame the center row above and below. A teal border with silver-lined glass runs the full perimeter, adding a cool edge to a palette that is otherwise warm and muted.

Wear it with olive, rust, warm brown, or anything that already has green in it.
