Lapis Adriatic Splendor Necklace

Lapis lazuli from Afghanistan, mined for over 6,000 years, cut into flat squares and set as the frame. Fuchsia, teal, and purple beadwork builds the geometric structure between them, triangles and diamonds that hold the fringe in place before it falls.

Five cascading strands, each tipped with a lapis oval. The center drop ends in a single clear glass bead that catches whatever light is in the room.

Wear it with a black silk dress, a winter-white wool turtleneck, or a deep aubergine linen tunic. For dinners, theater nights, or any evening you'd rather not be quiet.
