Labradorite Cleopatra Necklace

Labradorite rectangles sit against deep aubergine beadwork. The stones are a feldspar mineral sourced from Labrador, Canada, Madagascar, and Finland, and they do something most stones don't: the color shifts. Blue to green to gold, depending on the angle, depending on the light. That optical behavior is called labradorescence.
