Fuchsia Lapis Tellmark Necklace

Lapis lazuli from Afghanistan, mined continuously for over 6,000 years. The Tellmark structure is the same here as in the Gold: flat rectangles across the collar, triangle geometry connecting them. What changes is the palette. Fuchsia seed beads run alongside cobalt blue, and that combination turns the lapis from a cool, contemplative stone into something that vibrates.

Six flat lapis rectangles sit across the collar. Fuchsia and blue seed bead triangles connect them, and from each junction a short drop falls, each one ending in a red agate round. The agate is the counterweight: warm, saturated, and heavy enough to keep the fringe moving without tangling.

The center drop feeds into the pendant, where the triangle scaffold reappears around a lapis oval. Three more red agate rounds hang from the pendant base. The structural logic is identical to the collar above it, just compressed to a smaller scale.

Saturated color, load-bearing geometry, and a stone that has been traded across the ancient world since before writing existed. Wear it with a black silk dress, a teal or royal blue wool turtleneck, or a winter-white linen tunic. Lectures, theater nights, or any room where color earns its place.
