Cool-toned Amethyst Burnished Collar Necklace

Amethyst is a variety of quartz. The color comes from iron impurities and natural irradiation during formation. The cool-toned end of the spectrum reads lavender-grey rather than purple, which is why this colorway sits quietly next to neutrals and deep tones instead of fighting them.

Two rows of seed beads run in emerald and cobalt blue, with lime green rectangular loops across the upper row. Raw amethyst points hang down from both rows across the full width, each one slightly different in shape and tone. Two amethyst stones anchor the center front, one spherical and one oval. 

Wear it with a black silk shell, deep aubergine linen, or a winter-white wool turtleneck. Any neckline that clears the collarbone and lets the piece do the work.
