Red and Teal Lava Burnished Collar Necklace

Basalt lava is solidified volcanic rock. The surface is porous and matte because the gas bubbles that formed as the lava cooled left voids in the structure. That texture is not a finish applied after the fact. It is the geology.

The beaded collar sits wide across the collarbone, the grid running teal and red and dropping into a V at center front. Red rectangular glass beads cross the lattice as horizontal rungs. Raw black lava stone bars hang as fringe along the bottom edge. A burgundy tube and deep red marquise pendant anchor the drop at center.

Worn with a black turtleneck or a crisp white shirt, this is the piece that reads from across the room without trying to. The lava stone fringe moves. The teal and red hold.
