Black labradorite is a feldspar mineral from the spectrolite end of the labradorite range, found primarily in Finland and Madagascar. The composition is the same as classic labradorite, but the base color is dark enough that the characteristic iridescence is suppressed. What you get instead is depth: a stone that reads as near-black in most light and reveals its structure only when you look closely.

The Ferronerie is a geometric beaded statement necklace built on the same grid logic as medieval European ironwork and Mughal jali screens. This version runs black labradorite rectangles through a framework of silver tubes and red glass, with powder blue drops along the lower fringe and a blue cat eye glass oval suspended beneath the central focal stone. It is a high-contrast piece: the red is not subtle, and the black is not soft.

Wear it with a charcoal blazer and dark jeans, or a black turtleneck where the red reads as the only color in the room.
