Aventurine Adriatic Splendor Necklace

Aventurine is a feldspar-adjacent quartz, its mint green color coming from fuchsite mica inclusions distributed through the silica matrix. It has a subtle shimmer to it, not flash, more like light moving through shallow water.

Seven aventurine squares frame the collar, connected by teal triangle formations threaded with gold and clear bugle beads. Six fringe strands drop below in teal, orange, and amber, five ending in orange cat's-eye glass rounds. At the center, a geometric beaded diamond in navy and teal leads down to a large aventurine oval.

The orange against the mint is the whole argument. It keeps the piece out of spring-meadow territory and into something with more friction.

Pair with a deep olive linen dress, a rust silk shell, or a moss wool sweater. For garden parties, gallery openings, or any room with good plants.
