Angelite is blue anhydrite, a calcium sulfate mineral that forms when gypsum loses water under pressure. The powdery blue-gray color comes from the mineral's low refractive index and fine-grained structure. Most of it comes out of Peru.
Two stacked navettes, smaller above larger below, are joined at a red glass rose cabochon. Gray tube beads run the vertical frames. Red tube beads cross the interior struts. Angelite rounds stud the horizontal struts. Teal iridescent seed beads trace the outer curves of both forms. A glass connector sits at the crown, and a blue glass teardrop hangs from the base.
Wear these with a slate linen blazer and a white button-down, no necklace.
