Collection: Minoan Portal Necklace
A horizontal row of rectangular focal gemstones at the throat, with scalloped tiers of beadwork descending in two or three layers and ending in small gemstone teardrops at the lowest point. The piece reads as a stylized portal: a stone lintel above, layered ornament beneath.
The form draws on the gateways at Knossos and the painted friezes that ran along their walls, terraced design, registers stacked one below the other. Wear yours with a linen dress, a plain shift, or anywhere a clean upper neckline lets the tiers stack visibly. Currently made in lapis, banded agate, and blue jasper.
