Collection: Entrelac Bracelet
Entrelac is a French textile term for interlaced work. That is what this is.
Three rails run the length of the cuff. Between them, beaded loops pass through each other at every crossing, the same way interlaced ironwork holds without a weld. The loops are load-bearing. The rails keep them honest.
It reads as metalwork from across the room. Up close you can see how it actually works: each loop threaded through the last, every crossing intentional. The geometry is doing the heavy lifting, which is why it looks more complicated than it is.
The form comes from the same European decorative tradition as Gothic tracery and ferronnerie. Entrelac names the specific thing it is doing, though. Interlacing, not piercing. Loops, not cells.
