A plastic comb slides into an updo, carrying its own focal beads. From there, hand-stitched beadwork spans along the side of the head – gemstones, glass, or both – and a no-slip barrette anchors the front. The whole thing wears on the hair rather than in it.

One customer called it "hair candy." That tracks.

These are made for hair up: a twist, a bun, a chignon, anything that keeps the beadwork visible. Wear them to a wedding – yours or someone else's – a summer festival you make a tradition of, or any occasion that calls for something more than a plain clip.
